Technical skills

Applications are sought from Consultants working in the discipline of Quality Management with at least:

  • A tertiary qualification

    • Quality Management (BTech-Quality or equivalent)

    • Business Management or verifiable business management experience

    • Project Management or verifiable project management experience

  • Formal registration as a SAATCA (or IPC recognized equivalent) Auditor in Quality Management.


Practical skills

Of equal importance to the required technical skills are:

  • Computer literacy among the Microsoft range of desktop and messaging applications

  • A verifiable track record of success in the related discipline

  • Financial acumen

  • Presentation skills

Preferred skills

  • At least five years experience as a Lecturer or Consultant in the related discipline

  • Basic knowledge of Lotus Notes

Behavioural skills

The minimum behavioural skills being sought include:

  • The ability to create and build relationships

  • Strong Interpersonal and interactive skills

  • A good communicator

  • An eye for detail

  • The ability to work independently as well as interdependently

  • An organizer

Preferred skills

  • Negotiation and conflict management skills

  • Planning and time management skills

  • Entrepreneurial (The ability to identify business growth opportunities within customer organisations and the ability to promote appropriate solutions)
