Consulting
Management System Development
The process assessment and system audit, typically
performed as an initiating activity in the process of introducing a formal
management system, provides an ideal opportunity to analyse the existing
business functions and activities.
The detailed information gathered in this
process is used, under the guidance of Wynleigh International Consultants, to
commence developing a draft Business Process Procedure Manual which fulfils the
requirements of:
-
Management Policy,
-
the appropriate international management standard relative to
the pertinent guideline,
-
Good Management Practices.
In order to achieve these objectives, the process used
necessitates an interface with the relevant management and staff at all levels.
This approach creates procedures which are practical, effective and encompass
all aspects of the business. The approach has proved to be particularly
effective in creating a sense of ownership for those who are expected to
implement the procedures. Individuals therefore adopt the techniques of
continuous improvement which are imparted throughout the project.
Implementation of Procedures, Development and
Implementation of Instructions
Procedures The final procedures are implemented as and when
each procedure is completed. This allows for changes and amendments to the
system, ensuring consistency and continued compliance to the relevant standard.
Instructions
Each procedure is used to implement management
policy. The procedures, which define business processes, in turn are expanded in
the form of detailed instructions and methods. These define the activities which
make up the processes. A list of specific Instructions to support the
implementation of procedures is supplied.
The instructions are developed taking into consideration the
existing Safety Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, Industry Codes of
Practice, National statutory and local regulatory requirements.
