Software Sales Executive

Technical skills

Applications are sought from Sales Professionals with at least ONE of the following:

  • Commercial Bachelors Degree

  • IMM/relevant sales qualification (or 5 years outbound sales with solid references and own client database)

Practical skills

Of equal importance to the required technical skills are:

  • Computer literacy among the Microsoft range of desktop and messaging applications, basic knowledge of Lotus Notes and fundamental computer networking

  • A verifiable track record of successful sales

Behavioural skills

The minimum behavioural skills being sought include:

  • Ability to create and build relationships

  • Strong Interpersonal and interactive skills

  • Good communicator

  • Eye for detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as interdependently

  • Organizer

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Planning and time management skills

  • The ability to identify business growth opportunities within customer organisations and the ability to promote appropriate solution
